What it does

Designed for the detection of unauthorised smoking in areas subject to high winds, rapid ventilation, smoke or gas.

Where it should be used

Typical applications include open areas, building entry/exit points.Battery or mains powered, the unit comprises an integral Cig-Arrête Flame detector and voice sounder module.

Specifications

Upon activation the following message is released, " this is a no smoking area, please extinguish your cigarette. A member of staff has been contacted." The module will detect a 25mm (1") flame from a match or lighter at 6 metres (6 yards) within 1 second. When installed as part of a Cig-Arrête system, the FDV can be combined with slave units (CSA-SGA / CSA-FUV).
